Lunar X will be going into our 6th installation, this year celebrating the year of the Water Cat / Rabbit.

Lunar X first started out with the intention of showcasing and growing more opportunities for younger generation Vietnamese American artists to be seen as artists. Lunar X was also created as a way to carve out space and create new traditions for ourselves. Lunar X has grown and expanded over the years, starting from one gallery to an art hop of multiple galleries and presenting not only Vietnamese / Asian American artists but also local/emerging/youth artists who respect the culture and want to celebrate with us.

Tea Lyfe will host this year’s Lunar X exhibition and opening artist reception at their San Jose and Saratoga locations. In addition to the lunar new year celebrations, we will also be celebrating their 8-year anniversary. The Lunar X exhibition will run from January 21, 2023 - April 30, 2023.

The event will feature DJ & live music, art & craft vendors, art sales, Food & drink specials, raffle, virtual gallery, firecrackers, and soon to be confirmed performance from the Lion dance troupe. A percentage of art sales through the art exhibition and food/drink sales during the opening receptions will be donated to help with the continuation of Lunar X.
