Inspired by the Yakan Tribe of Zamboanga City and the islands of Basilan in the Philippines, this series of illustrations is a nod to my love of Art Nouveau while honoring and learning about the different tribes in the Philippines.

The flora and fauna seen in this piece are either endemic or found on the Basilan islands or in Zamboanga: the Mindanao Hornbill and the Waling-waling Orchid.

The original piece has a touch of shimmery watercolor in some areas (video to come soon).

Each print is printed on demand on luster photo paper and signed on the backside. The original will be signed in front
